I'm an author of fantasy novels for adolescents as well as all-age and am currently working on three novels. My dystopian Road Novel "Felizian" is undergoing final editing loops. My two fantasy novels are a dragon epic with several thousand pages, and the novel "Der Prinz unter dem Meer" ("The Prince under the Sea"): It is a bitter-sweet, magical underwater romantasy about love, the meaning of family and true friendship. As a trained linguist, language instructor and nordic philologist, I am very passionate about teaching Icelandic and German as a Foreign Language. I started teaching in 2008 and enjoy it to this day. The Germanic mythologies and poetry constitute a lot of the background atmosphere in my works.
My favourite poets are J. R. R. Tolkien, Franz Kafka and Georg Trakl. I adore their dark yet colourful expression; the mind can rest there. This atmosphere, together with nature-romanticism, is the canvas for my works.
